Wake County Taxpayers Association Goals
The goals of the Wake County Taxpayers Association is to give every Wake County resident a greater voice in local decisions and encourage more citizens to participate in local public policy making. It also offers a way for decision-makers to receive immediate feedback from the community on issues that must be decided or voted on in council.

The Wake County Taxpayers Association is a made up of an all volunteer group whose purpose is to promote efficiency in government by monitoring the use of taxes, initiate action to reduce excessive taxation, eliminate wasteful government spending, and encourage the wise and common sense use of taxes at all levels of government. Our members hope you will join us on the last Thursday of the month to learn more about us and the issues we are facing right here in Wake County.
