The Wake County Taxpayers Association (WCTA) is a non-partisan, non-profit, all-volunteer organization whose purpose is to monitor the use of taxes, initiate action to reduce excessive taxation, eliminate wasteful government spending, and encourage the wise and common sense use of taxes at all levels of government. Do you pay taxes in Wake County? Come Join Us... Please join us for our monthly meeting. All political persuasions are welcome, so long as you are a taxpayer. We oppose unnecessary tax increases and advocate the efficient use of tax dollars. We have been active in Wake County for over 15 years. There is no charge to attend the meeting (dinner is dutch). Memberships dues are only $25 per household, a little more than $2 per month. Sign-up is avaiable on-line or at the meeting.

Wake County Taxpayers Association Goals

The goals of the Wake County Taxpayers Association is to give every Wake County resident a greater voice in local decisions and encourage more citizens to participate in local public policy making. It also offers a way for decision-makers to receive immediate feedback from the community on issues that must be decided or voted on in council.
